May 9, 10; 8:00pm.  Electric City Playhouse; downtown Anderson.  "Cooper & Friends Sing the Blues" - a 2 hour performance as part of 2 nights of fundraisers for the community theatre.  Cooper Gunby headlines a program of classic and contemporary blues and comedy.  Jay is playing guitar and singing on a couple of the blues songs.  Silent auction and a drawing for a Stage One acoustic guitar.  Gathering at Irish pub afterwards, both nights. 


May 19; 7:30pm.  Anderson University; Meritt Building.  Regular monthly meeting of Foothills Writers Guild.  Agenda includes announcing of Spring Competition winners and selection of new officers for next Fiscal Year.
